Q:Jesse, have you ever had any formal vocal training and/or did you sing in choir in high school?

(I’m gonna take this one since Jesse is at work, then he can come answer it for real later -Dustin)

Jesse has not had any vocal training aside from watching those Melissa Cross Zen of Screaming DVD’s a few times. Little known fact is that Jesse had always been a drummer until about 2005 when he decided he wanted to sing for a band. It just so happened that there was a band in Austin (where Jesse and I lived at the time) called Tomorrow’s Too Late who needed a singer, Jesse auditioned, got the job, and a few weeks later played his first show as a singer.

About

Filthy rich or piss poor, lonely or in love, content or contemptible... there is no such thing as a guarantee. Life moves and changes with and without your approval. We are With The Punches and this almost never happened.

In January of 2009 we released our first EP titled "Keep It Going". We played those songs in any room, basement, school or parking lot we could. Quit our jobs and began touring full time by September of that year.

We started writing and demo recording songs while on the road and at home, all signs pointed to a new album release no later than a year after our first...

SHIT. GOT. REAL. Bad decisions, member changes, scumbag booking agents, and a handful of bullshit excuses brought us up to March 2011 and the release of our 2nd EP "It's Not The End Of The World".

More changes, better decisions, stronger friendships, and more fun. We recorded our debut full length for Doghouse Records which will be released on July 3rd 2012 and we will be touring all summer!
