You recently contributed a song for a comp that benefits the Japan tragedy.: How has this affected your band?“We have a few friends in Japan and we were out with The Wonder Years and Handguns when we heard, it was rough not being able to get ahold of anyone and know for certain if they were alright, luckily I think everyone we know was OK, but when something like that happens you just feel powerless, Soupy put the comp together immediately and really made sure that the proceeds went to a charity that put the money to best use, it was cool seeing how many bands wanted to be involved and how many kids bought it to help the people of Japan, I don’t think there are a lot of scenes where people respond like the pop-punk community does, it’s pretty awesome being a part of it.”3. The sound of WTP has changed since your last ep.: Do you think you’ve grown as a band, or found your way of writting?“Absolutely, when we made Keep It Going, we hadn’t been a band very long, a lot of those songs were written individually while we were putting the band together, so it wasn’t as much of a group effort. With It’s Not The End Of The World, Sam wrote a lot of the song structures and the five of us worked together to make sure they were where we wanted them to be.”
